Ten pairs teams competed with 90F temps and corresponding humidity in Milwaukee for the Central Division Open Pairs. Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke bested the elements as well as the competition in winning the championship game against Crandall Hays and Buzz Wickman (great lawn bowls name!). Dry weather and the heat brought the green speed up to 14 seconds for the weekend. Two sections played a round robin format plus a cross-over game. At the end ties were evident in both sections, so "plus points" were used to determine the final pairings.
