Good weather finally dawned on Milwaukee in time for the division playdowns that determined the Central Division representatives for the US Lawn Bowls Championship that take place later this summer in Seattle.                                                                                   Sunny skies brought out the best in the competitors and a keenly contested tournament ensued on the men's side. The teams took turns knocking each other down a notch in round robin play before Carl Landgren/Steve Nelson emerged as winners in a playoff against Bob Schneider/Rob Behncke. Plus points broke in favor of Leif Andresen/John Devine for third place over Jim Cavender/Max Cavender. Also competing were a pair of talented first year bowlers, Brendan Churchill/Tony Case.
